RagWing
Aeroplane Company
Welcome
to the RagWing Page, My name is Roger Mann and I own and operate
RagWing Aircraft Designs. RagWing Aircraft Designs covers a wide
range of services which started in 1987 after I received my honorable
discharge from the Air Force where I worked as a crew chief on
F-4D Phantom fighters. I got my FAA certified Airframe and Powerplant
(A&P) certificate during my service and went to work using
it when I discharged. Other services I offer other than Mech.
work includes Ultralight Flight Instruction, Homebuilt Inspection,
Technical counseling, Ultralight First Flight tests, Prototype
design and construction, DAR signoffs and of course the selling
of plans and kits to the homebuilder. I have been selling plans
since 91' and many homebuilts of several types and styles have
been built from plans that I have provided.
RagWing
Aircraft is a company that provides plans for Home-built aircraft.
In our plans, we make the effort to use simple construction techniques
combined with the cost effectiveness of inexpensive materials
that have been proven since the early days of flight combined
with modern alloys, glues and plywoods to add improved strength
and saftey. Building a Ragwing requires skills slightly higher
than those skills required to build a radio controlled model,
If you are confident in wood and light metal working, you should
be able to complete one of our designs in a reasonable amount
of time.
